Hi Peter,
it is nice to hear from you.
I'm not really sure where you are from,for I do not know where the Great Wall really is.I have heard of it,and know about it,but not really much else.Can you also tell me about your village?Because I do not really know what living in a village is like.The closest I have come to being in a village is when I visit my grandma in the southern part of Taiwan.She lives in a little town,but it is still not a village.It was more of a village when my mom was growing up there,and her parents raised fish in ponds,but it is pretty much a little city nowadays,all developed.
I myself was born in Texas,and raised in California for most of my life.I'm not sure exactly what you want to know about my life,because I think it is pretty boring,so if you could tell me what types of things you know about America,and what things you do not,I would be glad to tell you.It seems to me that living in California,or America in general,would be like living in a big city in China.We have plumbing and running water everywhere,electricity is always present,the trash man comes every week to pick up the trash,and the streets are mostly clean and the air is mostly clear (except there is smog in southern California,and it gives some people asthma,but other than that it is not so bad as in the big cities in Asia where it hurts your eyes and you have to wear a mask).When we were little many times we would play on the streets in our neighborhood with the other kids.We also would ride to the park on bicycles and play in the sand at the school.We had sleepovers with our friends (we would go to our friend's house and sleep there,talking until late at night,playing video games,hide and go seek) and would go camping every now and then.I myself did not watch very much TV,because my parents didn't think that was good,and didn't play too many computer games,and so when I was growing up I read many books from the library.I also learned piano when I was growing up and abacus,in addition to school.I did not take any other lessons,nor did I take additional classes after school for the purpose of doing better in school.My mom taught me Chinese,how to read and write,and we spoke Chinese at home and ate the Chinese food my mom cooked.
As for China,you are right,I do not know much about it.I do not know how people live there.I do not know what they do for jobs mostly there.I do not know what they do for entertainment there.So,if you could tell me,I'd be most grateful.

关于中国你说得对,我不是了解很多,我不知道那里的人们怎么生活,怎么工作,怎么娱乐,如果你愿意告诉我,我会非常高兴的.---因为他要问你想了解美国哪些方面的生活,然后想让你介绍一下你生活的小乡村,所以我不能帮你,不然你写中文给他啊,他应该可以看懂,不行你再发贴让大家帮你
