1
Early critics of Emily Dickinson's poetry mistook for simplemindedness( the surface of artlessness that in fact she constructed with such__cunning_/ crafe___.)
这个题是不是 mistook后面应该跟“the surface of .....craft” 这个呢?
2
The narratives that vanquished peoples have created of their defeat have, according to Schivelbusch, fallen into several identifiable types. In one of these, the vanquished manage to (i) _construe__the victor's triumph as the result of some spurious advantage,( the victors being truly inferior where it counts). Often the winners (ii)_collude in__this interpretation, worrying about the cultural or moral costs of their triumph and so giving some credence to the losers' story.
然后我(( the victors being truly inferior where it counts))这句话要怎么理解呢?
3
The ex-minister’s real crime,in the eyes of his_onetime/erstwhile____ political friends who subsequently abandoned him, (was not so much that he was wrong as that he raised questions that must not be raised)
还有这句话(was not so much that he was wrong as that he raised questions that must not be raised)中间的as that 怎么理解呢?

Early critics of Emily Dickinson's poetry mistook the surface of .....craft for simplemindedness.
I mistake for her you这种说法?错!只有I mistake you for her.
I don't like it that he's so lazy.
