Anne was a Jewish girl who lived during the Second World War. So as not to be caught by German Nazis, she and her family had to hide in her father's company. They hid there for 25 months, when Anne didn't have any true friend to talk everything to. As a result, she took her diary as her best friend. In her diary, she expressed her loneliness, her fright, and her love to nature.She was eager to enter the outside world so much that she once stayed over midnight to see the moon; and she also tried to enjoy the storm which is familiar to everybody and thought it were a gift to her---even though that's not really good for us today.
