Almost everyone's goal is to find their dream job after graduating from high school or college. However, not everybody gets their dream job and most importantly, not everybody finds a suitable job.Hence, most people end up doing a job that they do not enjoy doing. They take up such jobs since they need the cash. However, by taking up such jobs, they do no good to their careers and also do not perform well at the same time. The reason for this is that they are not doing a job they like, and hence they do not show passion. This is the reason why most say that one should take up a job only if they enjoying doing it. This article aims to explain the importance of doing what one enjoys and the advantages of it.
It is a fact that a person would do well in a role if he or she likes or enjoys doing it. You might come across plenty of personalities who have succeeded by doing something that they enjoy, such as:Batista (three time World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion) is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He loves and enjoys wrestling and this has led him to achieve almost every championship in WWE.
Roger Federer – believed to be the greatest tennis player of all time. Winning 13 grand slams in his career, his success was because of his perseverance in doing what he loves and enjoys most.
When you start doing what you enjoy, you will do well in that particular field mainly because it interests you, and also because you don’t get fed up doing it. And usually when a person does something that he or she enjoys, the output of it would be of a high standard or in other words, of good quality. Work of high caliber is all what is highly expected and appreciated by every person and employer.
When a person does a job that he or she enjoys, the effort put in and the extra initiative shown would mean that he or she puts in the effort towards that particular job. It should also be noted that doing something you enjoy is usually easy to do, and even though it is hard,
you would still strive to achieve it since you want to become the best in the field of your preference and pleasure.
So, what is best is to do take up a job that you can enjoy doing since it will enable you to do well and reach heights without much of a hassle. Remember that if you do what you enjoy, you will have job satisfaction as well as mental/ psychological satisfaction, and by doing well, you will be a highly successful individual both in your professional and personal lives. You will definitely be a role model for fellow employees as well as students pursuing such careers and there is no doubt that you would be in high demand among leading corporations in your country, or possibly in the world.
