请教一个冠词使用的问题
新概念英语三第一课a puma at large的第二段中,有一句：Paw prints were seen in a number of places and puma fur was found clinging to bushes.根据之前逻辑,那只美洲狮已明确,那么这句中的paw prints和puma fur前应该可以加the,但文中并没加定冠词,请问这有什么寓意?是为了向读者突出新奇感吗?另外在本课中,expert一词首先出现在第一段：experts from the Zoo felt obliged to investgate.接着,expert又出现在第二段里：and experts confirmed that a puma will not attack a human being unless it is cornered.请问第二段中的这个experts前,是否可以加上the,因为根据课文意思,第二段中的这些专家就是第一段里的动物园的专家们.

我的看法：这里的paw prints 和 puma fur 确实是指那只puma,但是paw prints 其实是some paw prints 的简写,puma fur 也是如此,所以不用the.
至于experts,前面的experts是指Zoo来的,第二个experts就不一定是指他们,因为根据原文,可以理解为第二个experts可能是是另外一些专家,他们只是确认puma一般不会攻击人类,也许和动物园的专家有重合,也许没有重合,所以不用the.后面experts又出现了一次“The experts were now fully convinced that the animal was a puma”.这里的 experts肯定包括上面所指的专家们,所以用the.一家之言,仅作参考.
