随着经济的发展，竞争的激烈，就业形式日趋严峻，为了在毕业后能够更好地适应社会，很多在校大学生选择了从事兼职工作，一方面缓解了家庭的经济压力，更重要的是在一定程度上接触了社会，获取了一些工作经验，提高了自己的综合实力。大学生兼职已是大学校园里的一种普遍现象，其存在很久，已经成为大学生生活的有机组成部分，是一种不可忽视的现象。兼职是大学生交际圈的突破，是大学生生活的润滑剂，也是大学教育在地域上的延伸。无论同学们有没有做过兼职，眼下都存在着一条漫漫兼职路。在这条路上，我们该怎么走，走向何方呢？在兼职工作中碰到的困难和挫折可能对部分大学生今后的发展带来一些负面影响。如何更好的做好兼职工作，为以后的生活打好基础，日益成为我们大学生关注的问题。因此，我们试图了解高校大学生的兼职状况，以期掌握大学生兼职的一些特征，从而为高校加强对大学生兼职工作的管理提供一定的参考。
通过问卷设计，调研实践及数据统计完成了此份"大学生兼职现象调研"的问卷调查。此次调查发放问卷共50份，收回45份，有效问卷41份。调查学生98%为大一、大二学生，女生所占比例较高。
一、大学生兼职的原因：
作为一名大学生，我们很快便会踏入社会，因此对于我们来说，在学校里学好文化，技术固然重要，在课余时间接触一下社会，了解一下实际，增加经验也是必要的，而兼职便是一种很好的方式。我们身边也有很多同学在假期里做兼职，在我们看来，在大学期间参加兼职是对自己能力的锻炼，增加一些社会实践经验，为今后的工作做准备。
我们针对现在的大学生热衷于兼职的原因做了兼职调查报告调查，经过总结，发现主要出于两方面的考虑：一方面是由于现代大学生的心态有了很大的变化。他们自立意识强，希望用自己的劳动来赚取酬劳，以取得一定的经济独立。另一方面是目前的社会，大学生就业压力大。很多人希望通过兼职取得工作经验，以此来培养自己的能力，并为将来更好地走上工作岗位做准备。我们的调查问卷显示，有百分之三十四的大学生表示兼职是为了赚钱减轻家里负担，有百分之四十八的大学生兼职为了培养个人能力，提升实践水平，百分之十七是为了获得工作经验，为就业做准备。
由此可见，经济负担和社会竞争压力是造成大学生兼职的最重要原因。
二、大学生兼职的职业选择：
据调查，大学生做兼职，主要是从事家教、促销、餐饮服务、发传单、业务代理等行业，这些行业所占的比例达到80%以上。
有近三层的大学生选择一家叫做为兼职，原因是家教单位时间内的报酬在各种兼职中比较高，做起来也比较轻松，也可从中得到一定的锻炼。有近半的兼职大学生做过促销与发传单，此类兼职找起来比较方便，报酬也不错，在与人交际能力得到的锻炼比较多。有部分学生选择校内勤工检学，主要包括图书管理、食堂打杂、助教等，此类兼职因为只需在学校做，做起来很轻松方便，也很受兼职大学生的欢迎。业务代理在大学校园中非常常见，此类兼职最为锻炼人，如果做好的话也很赚钱，但是做起来难度较大，只有少数人尝试。
