CdS是一种研究广泛的光催化剂,但纯CdS的光催化效率较低,在水溶液中易发生光腐蚀。将助催化剂修饰在纳米CdS表面,可以有效地提高CdS的光催化效率与稳定性,成为CdS改性的一种有效手段。但目前对助催化剂研究较多的主要是贵金属(如Pt、Pd、Au和Rh)。它们大多价格昂贵而且稀少,不利于大规模的实际应用,因此,需要进一步研究新型高效、成本低廉的助催化材料。因而,过渡金属离子就以其独特的优越性进入了人们的视线。
