Last week,our class held a debate about whether it is good for high school student to make as many friends as they can.
Firstly,the supporters believe there will be more people who are concerned about you if you have more friends.Secondly,whatever troubles you are going through,you can receive help from more friends.However,the other students hold a different view.They say that students have got to join in a lot of activities if they have more friends,which will have a bad effect on their studies.Besides,they find it difficult to get along well with all the friends at one time.Lastly,once the friendship is destroyed,people will have got to suffer from much more pain,which people find hard to recover from.
In my opinion/As far as I am concerned,high school students should pay more attention to qualities rather than quantities of friends.
