It goes without saying that there are many immoral behaviors existing in our society. Once I went to pay a visit to my grandparents by bus. Since it was a rush hour, the bus was very crowded with a lot of passengers. Then the bus stopped and got on a middle-aged lady with a baby in her arm. Apparently, the lady made her way to find a suitable place with great difficulty. Although the bus loudspeaker was busy repeating something like "offer seats to the old,the weak and someone in need",nobody was willing to do so,including a girl about 20, who was seated beside me and pretended to be absorbed in her smartphone, totally ignoring the poor mother and her kid.
Obviously, immoral behaviours in public have a negative effect on us ,especially on those who are so young as to imitate. What's worse, if we let such actions spread all over without taking any efforts to stop them, how can a harmonious society come in being? What we need is to take effective measures at once. First, behave ourselves in public. Second , give someone in trouble a hand without hesitation. Third, try to remind those around us of the significance of assisting others. To sum up, to help others is to help ourselves.
