people 是单复数同型的名词,系动词可以用 are 也可以用 is
如:There are many people watching TV on the playground.
There is only one people on the playground.
但是,通常都用 There are some people .而不用 there is
再问： 就是说，people在指多个人时，用are，而指单数时，用is？
