The day is almost gone,but i still cann't calm down.Have been through this tough day,been through all that happened today,been watched the unjustice reports from BBC,i believe every Chinese people has been pissed off.
The Olympic torch relay was disrupted by the Tibet rioters accompanied by the protests over China's human rights record.They ruined this grand Olympic event.I have said before that any action that mixs politics and the Olympics is a shame,but i did exactly the same thing today--i joined in the pro-Chinese group and confronted with the Tibet rioters,determining to dispel what they described as lies about China propogated by the western media.I am so sorry but i am really proud of what i have done.
First thing first.let's look at the so called Tibet protest.Just think over it:who tried to grab the Olympic torch,who tried to lie in the street to block the proceeding of the torch carrier,who shouted the dirty words to the Chinese...Although we were chanting for our country and argued with the rioters,we didn't do any thing violent.
Then,how about the human rights?"I believe in the Olympic values,the Olympic ideals...it's just unfortunate that China has such a terrible track record when it comes to human rights and they are the host nation." some body said ( i dont who,quoted from BBC webpage) What a shame on you to involve politics to the Olympics!I am so confused by the so-called "human rights" -- does it mean that every body can do what he wants,no matter whether it is wrong or right,no matter what bad influence it brings to the society?
Another thing is,the reason why i was so angry about this issue is that most of the rioters are westerners!Maybe if i saw a lot of tibetans,i would feel less angry 'cause they are hostile to us,but why the westerners?Surely enough,almost none of them have been to Tibet,none of them have known the history about Tibet.They are absolutely not in a position to say anything about this issue,say nothing of the pro-Tibet,or blaming on Chinese government.Actually,from the appearances,we could judge that most of the western rioters were from the low-income class.They are relying on the society benifits but pay nothing back to the society.Maybe the high-class people should think it over to deduct the subsidy.( heard from some body that some of the rioters were actually employed by the pro-Tibet minority at 50 GBP per day.Pretty high salary for them,isn't right?)
