1.the date是"那一天“,是具体的某一天,将它和除它之外的,他人生中的任何一天相比较,说它象他生活中的任何一天,所以用was like any other day.
2.corner 一词前的介词,根据情况的不同,和不同的介词.比如扫帚放在房间的角落里,用in a cornor of the room.如果是在房子的外拐角,则用on the corner of the house.如只表示一个”点“,则用at the corner of the house.这里的街道的拐角,应该是和房子的外角一样道理.
这与on,in,at这三个介词的根本用法有关系.一般说来,at表示”点“,on表示”线“,”面上“,而in表示在一个范围内,区域内或空间里.
3.误打.
