Scientists think that many animals -------- perhaps most --------- cannot see colors .the world is only black and white to them .
To fine out if dogs could see colors ,scientists made an experiment .Scientists played
a certain piece of music whe they gave dogs food every time .The dogs got ready to eat only when they heard this piece of music ,but they did not get ready to eat when they heard other pieces of music .That showed that the dogs could tell the difference of sounds .
Then the scientists showed the dogs a certain color when the gave the dogs food every time .The dogs got ready to eat when they saw this color .The scientists then showed the dogs another color ,and the dogs got ready to eat again .That showed that colors were all the same to them .
Color are not all the same to monkeys ,however .For example ,If we put food in a red box and do this every day ,a monkey will always go to the red box to get the food .But if we put food in a blue box ,the monkey won't go to it .
