很多像这样类似的关于工作、地位、职称的名词当要来形容是名女性时,就要加上ess,但是有些还是要先+r,然后再+ess的
2、国内：Erhu( 二胡）、Pipa(琵琶）是作为专有名词来看待的（首字母大写,也有可能写作：Er Hu,Pi Pa).专有名词前一般不用冠词.而piano,violin是普通名词,按英语的习惯,演奏乐器一般加定冠词Play the piano; Play the violin,而打球类不加：play football,play basketball.这个习惯用法,不有我来解释了吧.
所以二胡、琵琶 不用加定冠词the ,其他你就想着要加就行了
3、当做auxiliary（将要等的辅助性词语）时,will 后面只能加原形 I will make sacrifices solely on your account.
当做名词时,后面就要看句子的其他语法了 A country must have the will to repel any invader.
当做动词时,要看情况的,
决心 He was convinced he could win if he willed it enough.
如果他坚定决心,他确信自己可以赢.
想要(某事发生) This happened because God willed it.
发生了这件事是上帝的旨意.
将(财产)遗赠 He willed most of his money to charities.
他把钱大多遗赠给慈善机构了.
规定 The rules will suffice for all ordinary needs.
这些规定将能满足所有一般场合的需要.
4、what about
What about … 和 how about … 是英语口语中常用的两个省略句型,它们的意思和用法基本相同,常常用在以下场合.例如：
向对方提出建议或请求.例如：
1． How about going out for a walk?出去散散步好吗?
2． What about another cake?再吃块蛋糕好吗?
询问天气或身体等情况.例如：
1、 What about the weather in your home town?你们家乡的气候如何?
2、 How about your uncle now?You can’t leave him by himself.你叔叔近来身体好吗?你们不能单独让他生活.
What ：(表示疑问)什么.e.g.What day is it today?今天星期几?
How ：(健康等情况)怎样,怎么.e.g.How is Mrs.Smith?史密斯太太身体好吗?
1）两者通用
在表达提出某种建议的意思「...怎麼样；...好吗?」时,"How about" 和 "What about" 是可以互换的,亦即意思是一样的：
"How/What about a drink?"
(喝杯酒怎麼样?；喝杯酒好吗?).
"Where should we go on vacation?"
"How about Hawaii?"
"What about Japan?"
(「我们该去那里度假呢?」,「去夏威夷怎麼样?」,「去日本好吗?」).
2）What about
若是徵求意见或打听消息,你只能使用 "What about"：
"What about the university?" (强调 about 这个字)
- 这是 "How about ." 无法表达的意思.
3）How about
可以用来表达对事物的惊讶："How about those dogs?"
- "What about " 则没有这项意思.
如果你提供多项事物让人选择,那麼必须使用 "How about" ：
"Here are three jackets you might buy.How about the grey one?".
