After reading two stories of the Grimm’s fairy tales,I can’t help rethinking the laziness and sympathy of the human beings.
Lazy Harry is definitely the laziest person I have ever read about.His wife is also influenced by him and becomes lazy too.Undoubtedly,living comfortably without working is absolutely what we expected,yet it is impossible.Society means competition,so that everyone needs to work hard and earn the bread for his family.Can you imagine that the whole world is full of lazy people who just wait for others’ food?How could the society progress?How could they live on?Thus,diligence is the essential factor which contributes to the development of the world.It’s significant for us students to deal with laziness correctly.
In addition,another story called The Old Beggar-Woman I read isshorter and more profound,which mainly tells us the importance of sympathy.
The woman is a beggar shivering by the door,and a boy asks her to come in and stand near the fire and warm herself.Unfortunately,the woman’s clothes burnt because she stands too near the fire,meanwhile she was not aware of it.The boy stood and saw that,not doing anything else.Does he have a real sympathy?There are plenty of classes in the world,and no matter whom they are,how they live,are born equal.Suppose that Unequal treatment and discriminations fill in our daily life,how could we breathe in such a circumstances?Therefore,sympathy is a kind of solution to reduce the problem.The boy asks the woman to come in which seems that he is sympathetic,but later he gives the show away.Actually,beggars aren’t the people that everybody likes,I will surely give them a hand,inasmuch as they are poor but not bad,on the contrary the corrupt officials,rich playboy and so on are the ones we should abandon.Yes,we must be sympathetic to the right person.
Grimm’s fairy tales shows us the goodness and badness of the world,every story has its own moral,what we can do is to realize the society and look ahead.
