1.1 Seller shall furnish to the Expeditor/Buyer of the purchaser,no later than four (4) weeks after the purchase order commitment an initial Project Schedule with purchasing,fabrication,inspection,and testing plans based on data available at that time and expanded upon throughout the design and fabrication cycle for each unit.
The above Project Schedule is to be submitted with a Progress Report in hard copy and is also required to be submitted at the same time,electronically.
The Project Schedule shall be detailed and should include the following applicable points.Typical schedule format is attached.Formatted by Day-Month-Year.
- Drawing Submittal Schedule
- Materials purchase and delivery of key components buyouts indicating components Purchase Order Number,Supplier Name & Contact information.
- Manufacturing/fabrication as applicable:
- Layout
- Fit-up and welding activities
- Witness inspections,or in process inspections
- Assembly
- Testing
- Cleaning/painting
- Preparation for shipment
- Delivery Point & date
1.2 Seller shall furnish to the Expeditor/Buyer,a summary of prior week activities & weekly progress reports covering the current status of all engineering,Purchasing,and fabrication functions and a forecast summary of work to be performed in the upcoming week.
Each report shall be in sufficient detail to allow a realistic evaluation of Seller's progress.In addition to by-weekly progress reports,the seller shall,on request of the purchaser,submit irregular reports with full information and within period as specified in the purchaser’s request from time to time,may covering but not limit to following:
A.Charts and detailed descriptions of progress,including each stage of design,material purchasing,fit up,welding,assembly,testing,surface cleaning/painting,packing,and delivery status;
B.Photographs showing the status of manufacture,packing,and delivery status;
C.For Manufacturing/fabrication (for each component/subassembly),the name of the manufacturer,manufacture location,percentage progress,and the actual or expected dates of Commencement of manufacture.
D.Preparation for shipment
E.Copies of test results and certificates of materials (MTR); for the raw material purchased,there shall be tracking numbers,such as heat No,lot No.to facilitate checking against MTR;
F.Comparisons of actual and planned progress,with details of any events or circumstances which may jeopardize the delivery schedule,the Seller shall take measures to maintain the schedule.
