In memory of LeiFeng, our class organized an activity on March 5. We had a discussion about what we would do and had many great ideas. At last we decided to help the old people living in the Nursing Home. It was about 9:00 when we arrived there. Though we were a little tired, none of us wanted to have a rest. We got down to doing some cleaning: some cleaned the windows, some swept the floor and others cleaned it . Most of us never do such things at home, so we maybe didn’t do these well, but we all tried our best.
After doing some cleaning, we were divided into two groups, one putting on performances for the old people to make them entertained and the other teaching them to study English. Happy time always goes fast. We had to say good bye to those old people. On the way home, we all said this was really a significant day, and we decided to come back again whenever we had time.
