while的用法?
1. while当……时候,在……期间,引导时间状语从句,从句一般是状态
While he was in the house, I was watching TV in my room.
While he was speaking, he went like this. 当他讲话时,他像这样做手势.
2. while并列连词,表示对照,译成“而”
He is standing while I am sitting.
3. while=though,引导让步状语从句：
While the news, so far, has been good,there may be days ahead when it is bad.
虽然到目前为止都是好消息,但是可能过几天就有坏消息了.
4. a while = a time
After a while, he came back.
再问： 举个在……期间的例子好吗？
再答： While he was in Chicago, Henry looked up a friend of college days. 亨利在芝加哥时(期间)探望了他在大学时的一个朋友。 （翻译时一般不译成“在……期间”，以免与during混用）
再问： 人教版英语书上写的while you read是不是在你阅读期间，此处可以换成during you read吗？
再答： 不能。during是个介词，后面不能接从句。 可以说：during your reading while you read在你阅读的时候（这里可换成when)
