小说和电影剧本同源于文学,由小说改编而成的电影剧本比比皆是.然而两者在叙事方式上有着极大的区别,小说叙事多为线性结构,注重时间上的描写；电影叙事为多为空间的描写.本文将通过比较苏童的小说原著《妻妾成群》与张艺谋改编的电影《大红灯笼高高挂》,总结出由文学名著改编成电影的若干规律.

Both novel and movie drama are originated from literature.The movie dramas depicted from novels can be found everywhere.However,they have significant difference in recounting methods:most of the novel recountings are linear configuration and stress on temporal depiction; while most of movie recountings are spacial depiction.This paper concludes several principles of transcribing literature into movie drama by comparison of the novel "One master,four wives" originated by Tong Su and the movie "Hoisting of Red Lanterns " transcribed by Yi-Mu Zhang.
