留守儿童问题是近年来一个突出的社会问题.随着我国社会政治经济的快速发展,越来越多的青壮年农民走入城市,在广大农村也随之产生了一个特殊的未成年人群体——农村留守儿童.所谓“留守儿童”是指父母双方或一方外出到城市打工,而自己留在农村生活的孩子们.多数留守儿童由祖父母隔代监护和亲友临时监护,年事已高、文化素质较低的祖辈监护人基本没有能力对孩子进行教育.留守的少年儿童正处于成长发育的关键时期,他们无法享受到父母在思想认识及价值观念上的引导和帮助,成长中缺少了父母情感上的关注和呵护,极易产生认识、价值上的偏离和个性、心理发展的异常,一些人甚至会因此而走上犯罪道路.他们获取外界信息的方式多是通过电视和网络,而当缺少引导时,大量的色情暴力等负面信息不可避免的对留守儿童的思想产生影响.如何对这群孩子们进行正确的媒介引导是一个值得深思的课题.

The problem of children left behind is a special social issue in the present years.Following China's social and political economy's speeding development,more and more healthy and young farmers step into cities.As a result,an unusual group of underage group is borned in the farming community - children who stay behind in the farming village.The term "children who stay behind in the farming villages" means that children who stay behind in the villages while both parents or one of the parents move to the city to work.Many of these children are in the custody of grandparents or temporarily taken care of by relatives or friends.Basically,grandparents who are at high age and are lacked of cultural quality do not have the ability to educate these children.These staying behind children are at the essential stage of development,they cannot receive parental suggestion and guidance on thought cognition and judgmental concept.Adolescents who are lacked of emotional support and care from parents can
easily develop deviation from standard judgment capacity and abnormality
in psychological expression.Thus,some may even choose a path of committing
crimes.The methods of how these children obtain external information are
mostly via television and Internet.When they lack of guidance,these children'
s thoughts are inevitably influenced by negative messages such as large
amount of pornographic and violence.How to help these children toward
a proper media guidance is a question that worth deliberation.
