What do you do if you want to search for sites that Google can’t reach?Some people want to visit popular social websites; others would like to find some information protected by strong passwords—all these things have been impossible to traditional search engines,well,until an Israeli (以色列的) high school graduate created a new page.
Daniel Gross is 19 years old.He was going to serve in the army when a famous investment company answered his application and invited him to join one of its investment projects.Daniel was excited.He gave up his army duty and flew to San Francisco (旧金山) immediately.
During the next three months,Daniel developed several products,but none of them were quite satisfying.“We haven’t found anything worth investment until the project was going to be over.Then,I thought maybe something that I want to use could also be what people like.So,I created a very,very,very basic product in the last 48 hours,” said Daniel.And that “very basic product” is Greplin.
Different from Google,Greplin is a user-authorized search that can help users get information from Facebook,Twitter,Google Documents and more.It helped Daniel raise an investment of nearly $5 million and has been introduced to the public in late February.
