Pandas,a most rare species in the animal world,are peculiar to China,mainly Sichuan and Shanxi.An adult panda measures around 120~190cm and weighs about 85~125 kg.Pandas live mainly on bamboo.Due to the disappearing of forests caused by over cutting,as well as to the illegal hunting,they have become endangered,and there now only exist some 1590 pandas in the world.
