1.The disppearance made possible the rise of mammals.这句为什么不写成：The disppearance made it possible for the rise of mammals或者是The disppearance made the rise of mammals possible?疑问：make 的用法应是：made it possible for sb.to do sth./made ...adj.
make 后面可以直接加possible,再加名词吗?
2.my weight will be less than on the earth.本句是比较级,做比的对象是weight,为什么没有在less than 后面加上that?或者是直接去掉than?改为:my weight will be less than that on the earth.或my weight will be less on the earth.

这么说确实是比较少见,应该是口语中的顺序调换和省略问题,正式的写作用法中不会这样,不用管它,你的理解是正确的.
