For Social Visit (visiting friends,relatives and for tourism)
* Completed Form XXX (original)
* One recent passport-sized colour photograph (to be pasted on the top right-hand corner of Form XXX) which meets the following requirements:
o Image must be taken within the last 3 months
o Photograph should be in colour,must be taken against a white background with a matt or semi-matt finish
o Image must show the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide the facial features)
* Photocopy of the applicant's passport bio-data page.Please ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry
* Checklist X attached to Form XXX
* Local contact's Identity Card (original and photocopy)
* Completed Form XXX (Letter of Introduction for Visa Application)²
AND
* Letter from the applicant’s employer granting leave of absence and stating how long the applicant has been employed,his/her designation and salary if he/she is employed³
OR
* Copy of the household booklet if he/she is a PRC national and is unemployed³
² Letter of Introduction (LOI) may be issued by a local contact.
If you are not able to furnish a LOI from a local contact,you may approach your Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue a LOI to support your visa application.
³ Young children of schooling age (below 16 years old) and retirees are exempted from furnishing the documents.
Other Requirements
* The applicant and the local contact may be required to furnish additional documents and information when necessary.
* Official translations of the documents are required if they are not in the English language.

社交访问（访问亲友和旅游访问）
1.填写完整XXX表格（原件）
一张近期护照要求大小的照片（贴在XXX表格的右上角）,照片要求如下：
a）照片必须是在近3个月内拍摄的
b) 必须为白底彩照,哑光或半哑光
c) 图像必须表现出全脸,无头戴物（可以接受因宗教信仰而必须佩戴的头戴物,但是不能盖住面部特征）
2.申请人护照上生物信息页的复印件（应该就是指有照片的那页）.请确保护照的有效期至少延续到从入境之日算起的6个月.
3.清单 附到XXX表格后面
4.本地联系人的身份证（原件和复印件）
5.填写表格XXX（签证申请介绍信)
并且
* 申请人的雇主给的请假批准信,并写明申请人已受聘多长时间,受聘人的职能和薪金（若受聘）
或者
* 申请人如果是中国公民且未受聘的,须提供户主手册复印件（我猜是指户口本,但户口本官方翻译为Household Registration）
介绍信（LOI）可以由本地联络人签写.
如果无法从本地联络人那里得到介绍信,你可以联系你的大使馆或外交部为你签发一份介绍信（LOI）以供你的签证需要.
学龄儿童（16岁以下）和退休人员可以不用提供文件资料.
其它要求：
必要时,申请人和本地联系人可能会被要求提供其它文件资料和信息
如果文件原本不是英文的,需要提供正规翻译后的翻译件.
