求一篇英语作文,解释一个大学的校训,谈谈你对它的理解,要用英语,至少120字

最近听闻我们学校的校训改了,由原来的“勤奋求实”后面加上一句“励志明德”.现在且不对我们修改后的校训的好还坏做任何的评判,先来谈谈我的关于训的一些思考!
一 校训是什么?校训有什么作用?一个学样校训应该体现什么?
校训,作为学校育人的一种方式和手段,据《辞海》的解释,其含义是“学校为训育上之便利,选若干德目制成匾额,悬之校中公见之地”,“目的在使个人随时注意而实践之”.从字面上看,校训,是学校为树立优良校风、培养良好学风而制定的,要求师生共同遵守的基本的思想规范和行为准则.[1]
校训是学校传统的表露,是一种方向性育人手段和管理措施.每一所学校在其发展历程中,或多或少都会形成自己独特的历史传统与人文景观,吸引、感染、塑造着每一氛围内的个体.用这种长期积淀的无形力量对师生思想、情感、意志、性格和行为等进行教育,自然是其他任何方式所无法取代的.概而言之,一个学校的校训是一个学校的最好的广告牌,它最充分地体现了一个学校的价值取向和特色,同时一个学校的校训也一服很强的凝聚力、约束力和鞭策力,它把一个学校的全体师生紧紧地团结在一起,激励全体师生不断开拓进取!
由此观之,一个学校校训的好坏其影响甚大、甚深!
Recently we heard the school motto of school change,from originally of "diligence is realistic" behind plus a "inspiring mingde".Now and not after the modification of the school motto we have bad do any judge,first to talk about my thinking about some of the training.
A motto?What?What role does the school motto?A study sample motto should reflect?

The school motto is traditional revealing,is a directional education means and management measures.Every school in its development process,more or less will be formed its own unique historical tradition and humanistic landscape,attract,infection,shape each individual in the atmosphere.In this long-term accumulation of the invisible power to the teachers and students thought,emotion,will,character and behavior of education,natural is any other way,cannot replace.Say,a school motto is a school best billboards,it most fully reflected a school value orientation and the characteristic,at the same time a school mottos also served a very strong cohesion,binding force,and urges it to a school all teachers and students tightly together,incentive all teachers and students continue to forge ahead!
From this view it,a school motto of great influence the quality,deeply!
