这是定语从句,主句部分是Tom,was one of the first the professional guides.从句部分with whose（Tom's）help Mike climed the Matterhorn
然后分析从句中到底该用哪个引导词.
help sb do sth从这个固定用法来看,由于climed是过去式did的形式并不是do.而且climed与主句中系动词was时态相同,所以climed是从句中的谓语.所以从句的主干(主谓宾)就是Mike climed the Matterhorn.而且可以确定help不是动词而是名词,因此help前面要+whose.从句的结构就应该是sb did sth with sb's help.定语从句中介词提前,对应结构为with sb's help,sb did sth.因此答案是4 with whose.
