齐桓公（前716－前643年10月7日）,春秋五霸之首,公元前685－前643年在位,春秋时代齐国第十五位国君,吕氏,名小白.是齐僖公最小的三儿子,其母为卫国人.在齐僖公长子齐襄公和其侄子公孙无知相继死于内乱后,吕小白与公子吕纠争位成功,即国君位为齐桓公.桓公任管仲为相,推行改革,实行军政合一、兵民合一的制度,齐国逐渐强盛.桓公于前681年在甄（今山东鄄城）召集宋、陈等四国诸侯会盟,是历史上第一个充当盟主的诸侯.当时中原华夏各诸侯苦于戎狄等部落的攻击,于是齐桓公打出“尊王攘夷”的旗号,北击山戎,南伐楚国,成为中原第一个霸主,受到周天子赏赐.但其晚年昏庸,管仲去世后,任用易牙、竖刁等小人,最终在内乱中饿死.

Duke Huan
Duke Huan was born in 716B.C.and died on October 7th,643B.C.During his Crown Time from 685B.C to 643B.C,he was the greatest emperor out of another five in the Warring States era and the fifteenth emperor of Qi Dynasty in Chunqiu Period,named Xiaobai Lv.Duke Huan was the youngest one among three sons of Duke Xi.His mother was from Wei Dynasty.

After Xiaobai's eldest brother Xiang and his cousin Gongsun Wuzhi died of internal wars one after another,Xiaobai succeed in the fighting for the Crown and ascended the throne as Duke Huan.Duke Huan appointed Kuan Chung as the Prime Minister,pushed reform and implemented the policies to unite military with policy,army with people,and gradually Qi grew stronger and stronger.

In 681B.C,Duke Huan convoked Song,Chen and other two empires to have an alliance conference in City Zhen(in present Shangdong province),and became the first alliance leader of other monarches in history.At that time,all the empires in ancient China were suffed from the attacks and invasion from Rong and Di tribes.Then under the slogan of "honoring the king and resisting the barbarians",Duke Huan defeated the Northen Tribe Rong and the Southen Empire Chu.Consequently,he became the greatest monarch of the Central Plains in ancient China and rewarded by the King Chou.
但其晚年昏庸,管仲去世后,任用易牙、竖刁等小人,最终在内乱中饿死.
However,Duke Huan turned muddleheaded at his old age.Especially after Kuan Chuang passed away,he assigned Yiya and Shudiao and other vicious officials and ended up in starvation during internal wars.
