关于other 和the other的问题,
1..the other不是指两个人或物中的一个吗?为什么看有些语法书上写“the other"后可加单数名词,也可加复数名词.
如：Mary is much taller than the other girls.
如果可以成立,那the other +名词 ,这个怎么解释,也表示两者之中的另一个东西吗?
2.others 和 the others 有什么区别?
如：Some of us like singing and dancing,others go in for sports..
Two boys will go to the zoo,and the others will stay at home.
我总觉得这两个没什么区别,只不过一个有the ,一个没有the ,

the other是形容词要加名词,是特指的
