2.prevent sb.(from) doing sth.——阻止某人做某事,这是固定词组.句意为“约翰的病阻止了他明天参加比赛”.也可以说stop sb.from doing sth.,但没有这个选项呀.
再问： 为什么no matter what和后面的接不上了？
再答： 我指的是no matter not，还有，通常no matter what只引导让步状语从句，放在句首，这里不是用作状语。
