Will E-book Replace Traditional Books?
With the fast development of computer science and technology,there are more and more E-books stepping into our lives.
Some people believe that the E-books will take the place of the traditional books in the near future.First,it is because the high spreading speeds of these E-books.With a single click on the mouse,one can easily download a copy of E-books in a few seconds.What’s more,most download books are for free.Comparing to the printed materials,they help to save a large sum of money for the readers.
As far as I concerned,I definitely disagree with the opinion above.There are two reasons responsible for my view.On one hand,the E-books is not so convenient as those people describe.Taking notes on E-books is energy-consuming.It often requires transformation of the formats,like from .pdf to .doc.What’s worse,without the access of computers,E-book cannot even be read.On the other hand,some traditional books hold precious historical meaning,especially those elegantly printed first editions.
All in all,my conclusion is that E-books may never replace traditional books
