Hello everyone.My name is Wen Jia.I'm from No.40 middle school.It's an honor for me to have this opportunity to share some of thoughts with all of you at this moment.
My topic is about Beijing,our capital.As a Chinese,I like Beijing very much,because it’s the capital of the People’s Republic of China.It is also a very famous historic city and one of the most beautiful cities on the earth.
There’re many places of historic interest and scenic beauty.The most famous are:the Great Wall,Tian’anmen square,the Summer Palace,the Palace Museum,Beihai Park and so on.Every Chinese is proud of this place,for they’er the symbol of Beijing’s glorious past—its long history and rich culture.
Among these places,the Great Wall is widely known by people all over the world.It’s of great fame because it’s one of the two things Apollo’s astronauts could see with their eyes on man’s first trip to moon.It’s also famous for the high quality of it’s construction.It runs 6700 kilometers across five provinces.Today,the Great Wall attracts tourist both home and abroad.
Beijing is our nation’s political,economic and cultural center.It’s playing an important role in life and production of the whole Chinese.For example,as the cultural center,it has many institutions of higher learning,which train various kinds of qualified personnel.
The most important reason why I like Beijing is that Beijing is as hopeful as sunrise just as China is as hopeful as sunrise.I can see it in the smiles on people’s faces and I can hear it in people’s conversations.

在这些名胜中,长城是为世界人最广为人知的.它被赋予极高的声誉,因为它是阿波罗的宇航员登月的航行中亲眼看见的两件事之一.它同时已高质量的建筑而文明,它蜿蜒6700千里横穿5个省.现在,长城吸引了很多来自国内外的游客.
北京事中国的政治经济文化中心.它在整个中国的生活生产领域扮演着重要的角色.例如,作为文化中心,它有很多的高层次的学习研究所,那儿培养了各种各样的高素质高质量的人才.我之所以喜欢北京的最重要的原因是北京在中国像充满希望的朝阳正如中国在世界像充满希望的朝阳一样.我能看见它在朝着人们微笑的脸庞,能听见它在个人们交流的声音.
