Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents.This money is given to children for good luck .People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune .
The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”.People enjoy the Spring Festival ,during this time they can have a good rest .
2 New Year Resolution
In the new year,I will work hard in school.I will pay attention in class,complete assignments on time and do extra readings preactively to enhance my understandings about the topics covered in class.
I will lead a healthy lifestyle by balancing work and leisure,exercising regularly and keeping a healthy diet.
I will spend more time with my families and friends.I will share with them my joys and tears and give them a hand when they need help.
Let 2009 be a year of happiness and fulfilment.
3 The spring fetival is coming ,every family is busy with purchasing their own festival goods.Certainly,my family is so.That day,I and my mother go and select our own year goods.In the supermarket ,i choose my favourite candy and food.We choose meat ,sugar and melon seeds.Till 5:00 pm,we take our year goods go home.What a happy day.
