关于英语否定转移
It was because her mother was ill that she didn`t go to work
不是说强调句that从句里为否定形式时,需否定转移么?
为何不是 It was not because her mother was ill that she went to work

这里为强调原因,即强调部分为 because her mother was ill 这个原因状语从句.在that从句中强调哪一部分那一部分加not,没有否定转移之说.
It was not because her mother was ill that she went to work 这句意思就变成不是因为她母亲生病了她才去工作的.
至于 that引导宾语从句时有否定转移,且主句谓语为 think,believe,等表示认为的动词.
英语这些语法知识挺琐碎的,多做多练培养语感很重要哦~

再答：额。。。这个我也不懂哦。。。呵呵水平果然差得多。。。是不是这样的？因为expect 引导的从句有否定转移，此句就是因为 can't 中not提前了。书中说注意否定转移的意思是不要忘记强调句中的 not。就是说改成强调句式时不要忘记在It is 后加not。不知道我有没有表达清楚。。。
