We had 3 days to enjoy Venice from this fantastic location.Delightful hotel,and personable staff; comfortable rooms; pleasant common areas (indoors or on the deck)for breakfast,or a quiet courtyard for picnic lunch or tea.4 minutes to Piazza San Marco,and wonderful restaurants.An easy walk from the Grand Canal vaporetti.
After passing through bustling crowds,past beautiful shops,and beckoning resaurants,we arrived at this quiet and pleasant respite in the center of Venice.
Our 3 children (17,15 and 10) were warmly welcomed.Staff was very helpful,offering suggestions,directions,and promptly making arrangements for gondola rides,or airport transfer.And the air-conditioning was great in the face of 38C weather!
We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to all our friends.

the room was really dark,while the bathroom tiles looked tired.The drain wasn't really flowing thus we couldn't use the full force of the shower.Air conditioner was not cold and was fixed twice.Receptionist staff wasn't very helpful and they always say,"Cannot".Most of their staff can't speak english including the front line staff which made us really frustated when we wanted to find information.Their local product knowledge was not up to standard as all info that they gave us was wrong which made us missed a show and had to wait for the next one for 1 1/2 hours.Overall we didn't really enjoy our stay just how we supposed to.
