I always believe that people should go straight forwards to pursue their goals.Every time I set my mind on something,I will make great effort on it.During my past 22 years,I have made many goals and one is higher than another one.They motivate me to strive to succeed and then go beyond myself for a new advance.Now as a senior student,while my classmates are making definite decisions about their career paths,I make up my mind to do a further study for development and growth of myself.And I feel full of vigor when I am pursuing the goal through seeking for your Msc programs.
I find mathematics can make me feel energetic since my childhood.Each difficult exercise problem can be a little goal in my study.Although it may be not so important,the process of working it out is a process of striving.Through the endeavor I can obtain the joy of success.Gradually,mathematics became an interest of mine.On my high school teacher's recommendation,I chose mathematics to be my major when I went to university.
The life in the university is quite different.And my ken widened suddenly.The knowledge involved in courses is completely different from before.Mathematics,my favorite subject,is divided into several professional courses,such as Differential Equation,Numeric Calculation,Linear & Nonlinear Programming,etc.The sudden change once encumbered the progress in my researches,but it aroused my attention to course learning.I treated each course as one of my goals,and soon mathematics became familiar to me again.My GPA kept increasing from the sophomore year and achieved 60/80 in the last semester,reminding me of my vigorous potential and reconfirming my confidence in the scientific exploration.
Along with the advanced research in mathematics,I understood that it's the foundation of all the other subjects.Being used properly,it can bring convenience for the other researches.After entering Prof.Du Qikui's research group,I studied hard on the course of Numeric Calculation,which established a solid base for the further research.From using interpolation,curve fitting,best approximation and some other methods to seek for the solutions of different equations and programming the computer to make the calculation to be more convenient,I learned how to put the mathematics into practice.I attended the Computer Association in the university,and enhanced my practice experience from programming some applications.
