一般情况either city 就等于 both cities
如 there are trees on either side /both sides of the road.
但是 在否定句 中 用 both 是部分否定.
如 i don't like both .并不是二者都喜欢.
全部否定 应该用neither 或not ,either
i don't like either或i like neither.二者都不喜欢.
