我想请问各位,大家觉得这里是用who准确还是用whom?
为什么呢，我也觉得是who，但是我的导师却觉得是要用whom，我一般都是凭预感的，导师要我找资料说服她。
请问这有涉及到什么语法问题么，

现代汉语中who既可做主格,也可以做宾格.
这里是一个if引导的条件状语从句,用虚拟语气,从句中又有一个宾语从句.
who he was做told的宾语.这里who是做was的表语.
对补充：
这里涉及的语法就是主格宾格问题啊,当然最正规的是在宾格情况下用whom,但用who也是可以的.因为这里是做was 的表语,也可以说是宾语.最好用whom.但现代语法没有严格界限.
