John has really got the job because he showed me the official letter ---- (offer) him it.
首先这句话对吗，怎么看都觉得showed me the official letter letter ---- (offer) him it 别扭，但是说不上来哪不对。
另外，答案给的是在横线上填“offering", 怎么解释呢？
