My favourite sport is basketball.As we all know,basketball has been one of the most popular sports in China for many years.There are many reasons for the popularity of this sport.One of the most important reasons is that the limitation of compus size in the schools of our country.As it is not possible for many of the middle schools and high schools to afford and maintain a soccer ball field,student are encouraged to play basketball as an outdoor sport in physical education lessons.
Furthermore,NBA is also one of the reasons which makes me love basket ball.National Basketball Association (NBA),the most important basketball association in the US was formed In 1946.The first NBA match starts in the first or second week of November,and the first round which is the regular season ends at the end of April.After the winning teams finish the semi final and the final matches,we will have our champion.Usually we can watch NBA matches on TV,the NBA commentators will explain the tactics throughout the match and meanwhile they also introduce us their basketball players.That is how we get to know the famous basketball stars.I also have a favorite basketball player,which is Lin Shu Hao.
