高中英语语法-倍数表达问题
不用很详细,但要抓住要点,
另外有几个疑惑集中的实例,
1.This box is twice heavier than that one.It mean :The box is _______
A.three times the weight of that one
B.twice as heavy as that one

请问是不是因为这几种倍数表达表示的倍数不一样?
2.Americans eat ________ vegeetables per person today as they did in 1910
A.more than twice
B.as twice as many
C.twice as many as
D.more than twice as many

18.-Is this stick long enough?
-No.I need one twice as long
4.To our surprise,we got twice as many people to attend the meeting a we expected
这些是省略?都什么情况?
最后一个例子的a we expected应为as we expected

A是B的X倍有三种表达方法,
`1 A is "X的序数词" the +“表示长短,轻重的名词形式如,length weigth等等” of B
例如 A是B的5倍长 A is 5th the length of B
2 A is "(X-1)的序数词" + 形容词的比较级如 longer + than + B
例如,A是B的5倍长 A is 4th（=5-1）longer than B 也就是第一题中那样
3 A is “（X-1）的序数词”+ times +形容词的比较级 + than + B
例如 A是B的5倍长 A is 4 times longer than B
4 序数词 + as + 形容词 + as
例如 A是B的5倍长 A is 5th as long as B
其中第二种容易混淆,只要记住(X-1)就好所以第一题你就明白了
其余的题目就是第四中的各种应用了,同时要记得题目中的各种变化,如单复数的变化,词性的变化,系动词的变化等等
这中问题问老师一下子就能明白,多问老师啊,老师那么长的教学经历,这点是小意思,同时你得多加练习.
