At that time people said,” We prefer having a bed in Puxi than to having a flat in Pudong.’’It was because of the Huangpu River. There were fewer ferries and you had to wait for a long time. When it was foggy, the ferries stopped. But now it's much easier for you to go to Pudong.Besides ferries you can take buses or taxis because there are five bridges over the river. Next year another bridge—Wupu Bridge will be built. What’s more you can also go through the tunnels. So more and more people would rather to live in Pudong because it is not so crowded as in Puxi and the air is fresher.

那个时候人们说：“宁要浦西一张床,不要浦东一间房”（貌似差不多这个意思）.这是因为黄浦江.
黄浦江当时渡船很少所以必须等待很长时间.当江面有雾时,轮渡会停航.但是现在去浦东容易多了.除了轮渡你还可以选择搭乘公汽或者出租车因为江上有了五座大桥.明年另一座桥——Wupu（不知道怎么翻译）大桥将落成.你也可以走（过江?）隧道.
所以越来越多的人愿意住在浦东了因为那里没有浦西拥挤而且空气更加清新.
