1 if的意思是如果,含有假设的意思,引导的是条件状语从句,而whether的意思是是否,通常和not连用,意思是不管是……,所以不能用whether,如果有not的话还可以考虑一下,都没有not,所以都不用看了.
2 不可以,首先will和be to do的意思基本是一样的,合起来用就重复了,在这,this afternoon是一个比较近的时间,而be to do在表示时间远近的时候比will要近,所以用are to perform.
3 当然不可以,whose是一个疑问代词,谁的,而belong to 的意思是属于,首先从意思上看词典应该属于的是一个人,而不是一个代词,汉语说得话也只能说这个词典是谁的或者说这个词典属于谁,其次,belong to 后面应该跟的是somebody,所以不能换.
