Payment terms :For the parts that we get in India and from China,the payment terms is as follows
For bought out parts its 45 days from the date of receipt of material at our works or part approval
which ever is earlier.We do not pay any up front advance for the sub parts.
Even our customers have got still stringent terms like 60 days after part approval (or) 90 days from
the date of goods receipt at their works (or) in case of export customers,its 90 days from the date
of B/L.
As we know the problem of cash flow,we do not pass the same on to our suppliers,hence the payment
term of 45 days from the date of receipt of material or part approval which ever is earlier is followed.
