And all honorable ladies and gentlemen as well as our beloved table tennis athletes
Assalamualaikum Wr Wb,greetings to all of us.
On this great day,let us thank and praise the Lord Almighty for His grace and mercy.We will finally commence the opening ceremony of “The Kasih Bangsa International Table Tennis Invitation 2010” today,Saturday December 14,2010.
On this occasion,I,as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Championship,would like to welcome all participants,“Selamat datang ke Jakarta (Welcome to Jakarta)”,who come from 13 great countries,namely:China,Mongolia,India,Vietnam,Hong Kong,Singapore,Philippines,Germany,Sweden,Slovakia,Switzerland,Hungary,and the host Indonesia.
Mr.Minister and all our respected distinguished guests,please allow me to report the several points as follows:
1.The Championship is organized by the Scholarship Campus STIE Kasih Bangsa in cooperation with the PB PTMSI.
2.The Championship will play several events,including:
a.Men’s senior team event,competing for the Trophy of the Minister of Youth and Sports (bergilir),with 36 participating teams.
b.Men’s senior individual event,competing for the Trophy of the Chairman of the PB PTMSI (bergilir),with 72 participants.
c.Women’s senior team event with 25 participating teams and women senior individual event with 52 participants.Both events will be competing for the Trophy of the Minister of Culture and Tourism (bergilir).
d.Men’s junior individual event with 32 participants; Women’s junior event with 35 participants; Men’s cadet event with 38 participants; Women’s cadet event with 27 participants.Both junior and cadet events will be competing for the Trophy of the Chairman of KONI.
3.Prior to this Championship was 6 series of competition which we call “Kasih Bangsa Table Tennis League” and was held in 6 cities,namely Jakarta,Banten,Bandung,Garut,Semarang,and Medan,from February 2010 to November 2010.The 1st – 4th ranks of the men’s team event and the 1st – 8th ranks of the men’s individual event were eligible to participate in “The Kasih Bangsa International Table Tennis Invitation 2010”.
