What is the difference between the lecture system and the discussion system—the two teaching methods prevalent on campus both at home and abroad?As a senior,it is not very difficult for me to tell:they have both strengths and weaknesses.
Many students like the lecture system because it helps them to learn more quickly.Attending a wellprepared lecture is a most rewarding experience:it can open a new horizon for you and save your time as well you might otherwise spend reading one book after another.Yet the fault of the lecture system is that it cultivates a bad habit of passive learning.Students bring their notebooks and even tape recorders to class to write everything down without thinking for themselves,let alone raise any question to teachers.On the contrary,the discussion system encourages students to form their own ideas and opinions.To engage in frequent and even heated debate,you have to do a lot of homework beforehand,find answers yourselves and thus you have develop the analytical skills which benefit both your academic career and your future life.However,it also has its weakness:students do not learn systematically.
In my opinion,both the systems must be improved methods may gain more popularity among us students.:

Should College Students Establish a Business?
At present,more and more college students have begun to establish businesses,and there is no consensus of opinion among people about it.
Some people are for the view that college students should establish businesses.On the one hand,it is favorable for integrating theory with practice and promoting teachers’ work.On the other hand,it is beneficial to train students’ innovation abilities and arouse the students’ interest in learning.While others take an opposite view,firmly believing that students should not establish businesses.They argue that college students’ main task is to learn knowledge and lay a good foundation for a future career,and that establishing businesses will make them neglect their studies.
As for me,the former notion is preferable in many senses,because university students’ pioneering work can realize their personal value and cultivate their individual abilities.

At present,Internet slang,such as“GG”，“MM”，“Xia Mi”,has become popular among the teenagers.
There are different opinions on Internet slang.some students think Internet slang is vivid,fashionable and full of humor and intelligence.Besides,it makes chatting on the Internet quicker.
However,some other students think Internet slang lacks depth of thought and is too simple.Besides,it is hard to understand and not accepted by most people.The words sometimes might make people confused,even resulting in misunderstanding.
Every coin has two sides.In my opinion,living in the Information Age,if we dont know the Internet slang,we seem to fall behind.It will be OK as long as these terms are used correctly in proper situations.
