Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It's my great honor to stand here and deliver a speech to you. Today, my topic is"Change the unchangeable".
So, what is unchangeable in the world,nature, our minds, our destiny or something else? However, from my perspective, nothing is unchangeable. The only thing that can't be changed is "change" itself. As we all know, long before human beings had the firm belief that they couldn't change nature. They were scared of nature's anger and regard it as God. Now, we have already transformed mother nature into what we expect it to be. We get countless resources from it, which is our ancestors couldn't imagine.
But why do people think there exists something unchangeable? Because they don't have the courage to change it, it is their attitudes that should be changed. We all know the story of Helen Keller. Stricken by illness at the tender age of nineteen months, Helen lost her ability to see, hear and speak.When she fell upon the thorns of life, everyone around her thought she would never live as a normal person, let alone meet with success. To their surprise, with Annie's assistance, Helen became a distinguished writer and lecturer, an outstanding example of the unconquerable human spirit. She changed her life which is "unchangeable".
