为了寻找能描述原子核内强作用力的数学函数,维内奇诺(Gabriele Veneziano)发明了弦理论的雏形,伦纳德·萨斯坎德(Leonard Susskind)发现,这函数可理解为一小段类似橡皮筋那样可扭曲抖动的有弹性的“线段”,这在日后则发展成“弦理论”.问题是这样的,我们知道原子核内传递强作用力的粒子是胶子,它的自旋是1,静质量为0,这两个参数是弦理论方程描述强作用力的重要参数,我们知道一个氢原子由一个核子与一个电子组成,而量子级实验是破坏原子结构的,那么当核子与电子分离,是否会对质子与中子间传递强作用力的胶子产生影响,或者说在完整的原子内,胶子的自旋真的为1,静质量真的为0吗?再更近一步,原子分裂影响的只是原子内的胶子吗?如果完整的原子内的状况与分裂的原子部分内的状况根本就是两回事,量子力学和弦理论遭遇众多障碍也就理所当然了.
In order to find the mathematical function to describe the strong interaction between nuclei,Gabriele Veneziano invented the prototype of string theory,Leonard Susskind found that this function could be interpreted as a wiggling line like a piece of rubber band,and this was later developed as 'string theory'.Here's the problem,we know that the medium particle which interchage the strong interaction is gluon,whose spin is 1 and the rest mass is 0,these 2 parameters are important for describing the strong interaction of the equation of string theory.it's known to us that a hydrogen atom is made up of one nuleus and one electron,but the experimets conducted at the quantum level would disturb the structure of atom,then when the atom is ionized,will the gluon which transmitt the strong interaction between proton and neutron be interfered,per se,is it true that the spin and the rest mass of gluon really are 1 and Furthermore,is it only the gluon which is interfered by the splitting of the atom?If the situations of the whole atom and the splitting part of the atom are completely different,then the bunch of obstacles faced by quantum mechanics and string theory is inevitable.
