Dear Miss Yang:
I am sorry that can't attend your lecture on American literature.My sister is sick.She has a fever and has to rest in bed.I have to take care of her,and help her with her studies.And my parents are not home.They are both away on a business trip.So I have to do some housework as well.
I'm wondering whether I can visit you after the lecture,so that I can catch up on what you talked about.
