Salary or Job Satisfaction
Satisfaction:
1.\x05Salary is something you negotiate once and take home once every thirty days.Job satisfaction keeps you happy every minute of every day.So ideally a good balance of both is required.But there is no doubt in my mind that,of the two,JOB SATISFACTION IS DEFINITELY MORE IMPORTANT.It is the one thing that keeps you motivated.If you are motivated,you perform better and you grow.If you grow,you become even more satisfied.
2.\x05Definitely job satisfaction is most important.If you are satisfied with your ,up to some extent it means you are happy with the salary you are getting .If you are getting very good salary,but you are not happy with the job environment or you are not enjoying it then you can't put your best to it.You can't stick to that job for a long time.
3.\x05ultimate purpose of everyone is to keep themselves happy and it could be possible only when you are satisfy and satisfaction comes when you are satisfy with your work..so job satisfaction is more important then salary...
4.\x05Money can not give job satisfaction and peace of mind.If any one has only money motive then he has to frequently change his jobs.But on the contrary one has to change jobs for want of good organization also which is a different issue here.First,one has to develop the interest of learning more of his job/work in order to become talented and thus becomes master of his work which makes him to enjoy his profession.Friends,asper our forefathers and our veteran seniors WORK IS WORSHIP and which makes a man to have the feeling of job satisfaction and peace of mind.
5.\x05In this materialistic world,there are lots of people who believe that salary is the most important consideration when choosing a job or a career.But on the other hand there is another group of people who believe that job satisfaction is the most important aspect above all else.Different people value different priorities in life.Some prefer financial well being,while others go for more ethical values such as happiness,job security and a stress free environment.My personal conviction on this issue is that job satisfaction over money should be the main consideration in any career.It goes without saying that money is an 鈥渆ngine鈥 of everything,but sometimes it may not be enough to provide job satisfaction to the employees.
6.\x05According to me I consider job satisfaction is more important in order to motivate any employee.But for the clear understanding for all I would like to suggust you all to just review the maslow need hierarchy atleast once because according to that hierarchy motivational factors are different for the different level of persons,level in the sense the fulfillment level of that person...According to Maslow,money based incentives can be a motivating factor for the worker but to a manager it will not be a motivating factor to him,here prestige and delegation of authority will be the motivating factor for him.
7 peace of mind is worth more than any money
Salary:
1 There is always a certain basic level of salary needed to keep a person comfortable in a job,anything less than that will cause dissatisfaction with the job.Beyond that level of salary,job satisfaction,freedom to do the job in the way bestsuited to you and recognition is the prime motivator.
2 Salary is monetory compensation to an employee,but it is the job satisfaction that matters most in an individual's employement.I believe if u have no job satisfaction you may work for salary but that is only ephemeral.So continuing in job means a lot of job satisfaction
3 I am very much agree with Kriti Das since salary will really act as a motivating factors and the employee will get more encouragement for the growth of his company as well as his own
4 I definately agree with Mr.Kriti Das,if your expected salary(the salary which you really deserve) credited in your account ,it really motivates to do more and earn more...and you can try to do your work in a better way...a good salary gives you a mental satisfaction ,as per me the day when level of satisfaction with your job comes in your mind ,your eagerness towards work can be less ,then you start maintaining your performance level ,it really stops your progress.like we can take the example of gov employees ,they are having job satisfaction ,thats why they wont work at all...
5 Had heard it in early part of my career.As far as any employment is concerned,you could either keep the job or be satisfied.Since I am paid on my strengths and abilities,to me salary plays an important role,certainly more than job satisfaction.Better salary brings satisfaction with the job is my belief.
6 There is a trade off between salary and satisfaction.When job satisfaction is there,we adjust salary to some extent and vis-a-vis.
7 I feel that the complete phenomenon of salary v/s job satisfaction varies from person to person.For me I would place both of them in equal proportions.Earlier when we had a closed economy our fathers n forefathers were more concerned about job satisfaction..But of late in this era of globalisation I feel that somehow job satisfaction and salary both have become interlinked and complimentary.For me if I get my dream job where I am paid less,I might be happy with the aspect of enjoying my work but after a certain level I would yearn for money ..for a better salary.Hence in todays world everything comes with a charge..
8 It depends entirely upon the desires of the individual.To accept more responsibility,perform more complex tasks and lay the groundwork for the abilities to do so; with education,longer hours,etc.results in a higher salary.To accept more mundane labor with little or no responsibility means a lower salary.
9 It is really true that Salary is affected the working capacity and performance.If any person is not satisfied with his Salary then he can't do best with his work.It is also a part the job satisfaction.If any person is not satisfied with provided job that he is not also able to do best .But Salary is first in his working capacity

I would favor both Job Satisfaction & Salary.In my opinion job satisfaction is more important in the beginning of the career wherein you are struggling to learn the processes in the company and gaining those skills required to move ahead since company spends a lot of amount on your training.But over a period of time with more and more responsibilities coming in we tend to give more importance to salary which is justified also as why would we being overutilized by the company when you are contributing your experience in growth of a company.
