My view on examination
I think it is very necessary and helpful for both students and teachers to take examination.From examination,students can find out how well they have mastered their lessons.On the other hand,teachers can check students' performance and their teaching method as well.
But examination still has its disadvantages.For example,to a degree,high scores doesn't necessarily mean excellent ability or creativity in dealing with different situations.In order to get high marks,some students pay too much attention to their lessons,they may have no enough time to develop their talents in music,painting,playing,etc.
So,in my opinion,even if no one could get a better balance between high scores and excellent ability,we should give students more chances to study hard and to develop their own interests.
The Best Means of Transportation
Nowadays,more people tend to buy private cars as their means of transportation.Convenient as they are,private cars are causing more and more problems,such as environmental pollution,traffic jams and traffic accidents.These problems are increasingly threatening our environment,our health,and even our lives.
In fact,people have many choices as their means of transportation.Besides private cars people can to out by bike,by motorcycle,by train,etc.Each of them may have its advantages and disadvantages.Which to choose all depends on one's preference and the distance one is to cover.
In my opinion,for the sake of our health and protecting our environment and saving energy,it is certainly the best means of transportation to go out by bike for most people who make short trips within several miles.It is not only a healthy way of taking physical exercises but also an active act of protecting the environment and saving energy,for it consumes no fuel,nor does it produce any pollution.
Smoking
It is almost known to all that smoking is bad for people's health.Many years ago,scientists found that smoking can lead to a lot of diseases such as heart disease,stomach trouble,even lung cancer.What's more,smoking is harmful not only to smokers themselves but also to other people around them,especially to women and children.
Still,many people find it difficult to stop smoking.For them,giving up smoking is impossible.Firstly,they are so addicted to it that they can't help smoking at any time.Secondly they are always find excuses for their bad habit such as to be relaxing,to relieve tiredness,and so on.
Measures have been taken to help people keep away from the harm of smoking.First of all,many responsible manufacturers have printed a warning:" Smoking is harmful to your health." Secondly,smoking has been banned in many public places.Thirdly,the government is making laws to forbid some ads on TV or newspaper to avoid its negative effects.

考试之我见
在我看来,参加考试对于学生和老师来讲都是一件有必要且有帮助的事.一方面,学生可以通过考试更清楚的了解自己对课程的掌握程度,另一方面,老师也可以以此评估学生的表现及自己的教学方式.
但是,考试也有其弊端.比如,某种程度上,高分并不意味着处理各种不同情况时所能表现出的不凡能力及卓越创造力.为了获得高分,有些学生将大量时间放在功课上,以致于没有时间培养自己在音乐,绘画,运动等方面的才能.
因此,以我看来,即使没有人能够在高分与高才能之间做出一个更好的权衡,但我们应该给学生更多学习与发展个人爱好的机会.
最佳出行方式
当今,越来越多的人倾向于购买私家车作为其出行方式.私家车为我们带来诸多方便的同时,也产生了越来越多的问题,比如,环境污染,交通拥堵以及交通事故.这些问题日益威胁着我们的环境,我们的健康,乃至我们的生命.
事实上,人们在出行方式上有很多选择.除了开私家车之外,人们还可以选择骑自行车,骑摩托车,坐火车等方式出行,每种出行方式匀有其利弊,选择哪一种方式,取决于个人偏好及路途远近.
以我看来,考虑到健康,环保,节能等因素,对于短途出行的人,骑自行车无疑是最好的选择.它不但是一种强身健体的锻炼方式,也是一项环保,节能的活动,无油耗,也无污染.
吸烟
众所周知,吸烟有害人体健康.多年以前,科学家已发现吸烟会引起多种疾病,比如,心脏病,胃病,甚至肺癌.另外,吸烟不仅对吸食者有害,对周围其他人也有害,尤其是妇女和儿童.
尽管如此,很多人依然觉得戒烟是件很难的事.对于他们来讲,戒烟是不可能的,首先,他们对香烟已上瘾以至于随时可能忍不住吸烟;其次,他们总为自己的坏习惯找借口,比如放松,缓解疲劳等等.
为帮助人们远离吸烟的危害,相关措施已被采取.其一,很多有责任感的（香烟）生产厂家已在其香烟包装上打印上警示语：“吸烟有害健康.”其二,很多公共场所禁止吸烟.其三,政府已出台相关法律禁止电视及报纸上的香烟广告以避免其负面影响!
